The short version

What is Pixsie?

A tool for collecting photos from everyone at your event: you create an event, share a QR code, and guests upload to one shared gallery straight from their phones.

How it works

Three steps

  1. I

    Create your event

One field, and you have a gallery and a QR code. Nothing to install and nothing to pay.

  2. II

    Put the code out

Print it for the tables, add it to the invitations, or just send the link. Guests scan with the camera app they already have.

  3. III

    Collect and download

Photos land in your gallery as they arrive, and you take the whole set away in one archive.

What you get

No app, for anyone

Not for you and not for your guests. Everything happens in a browser, which is why photos actually arrive from the people who would never have installed anything.

Unlimited guests

As many people as you like, uploading as much as they like. The $20 ceiling is per event, not per guest.

Originals, if you want them

Full quality stores untouched files instead of optimized copies, at $0.20 per photo capped at $40. You choose after the event, once you have seen the photos.

Private by default

Galleries are unlisted and can require a four-digit PIN. Your photos are never used to train AI, and you can delete everything whenever you want.

One archive at the end

Bulk ZIP download of everything once you reach the $20 cap, and 365 days of storage from then on.

Pricing at a glance

Photos 1 to 50
Free, always.
Photo 51 onward
$0.10 each, and only when you want them visible.
At $20
It stops. Unlimited uploads, 365-day storage and the bulk archive, for good.
Videos
One video counts as 10 photos, because it costs roughly 10 times more to store and serve.

What hosts said

Each guest was given a QR code. By morning after my wedding day I had over 300 images. This could not have been easier!

I loved Pixsie for its simplicity. It worked perfectly for our event and you can't beat the price!

After looking at countless other sites and apps for collecting wedding pictures we decided to go with Pixsie. We loved the idea of only paying after a certain number of uploads as well as the easy interface for guests to upload pictures and videos without having to download an app or sign in to a website. We were able to match the interface of the site to our wedding colours and easily display QR codes around our venue. We loved getting to look through everything that was uploaded in the days following our wedding easily downloading them in high quality!

Questions

Before you start

What is Pixsie in one sentence?
A tool for collecting photos from everyone at your event: you create an event, share a QR code, and guests upload to one shared gallery straight from their phones.
How much will my event cost?
The first 50 photos are free. After that you pay $0.10 per photo to unlock visibility, capped at $20 in total. Once you reach the cap, every current and future upload stays unlocked for good, including the bulk ZIP download.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code and upload through their browser. There is no app and no account to create, which is the main reason photos actually arrive from the guests who would never have installed anything.
How are videos counted?
One video counts as 10 photos in the unlock counter, because a video costs roughly 10 times more in storage and bandwidth. Five videos use up the whole free quota; six photos unlock for 10¢.
Can I keep full-resolution photos?
Yes, and you decide after the event rather than before it. We hold your originals while the gallery is new, so you look through the photos first and then take the full-resolution files. That moves the event to $0.20 per photo capped at $40, which replaces the $20 cap rather than adding to it.
How long are photos stored?
Every photo is stored for a full year, on every plan. Download the whole archive any time. Once it is on your computer it is yours forever, and we would suggest doing that in the first week anyway.
Is there a limit on guests?
No. Unlimited guests and unlimited uploads. The $20 cap is per event, not per guest.
Is tax included in that price?
Prices are shown before tax. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address, so depending on where you are it may add a little or nothing at all. You will see the exact total before you pay.
