Guests scan a card on the table and upload from the phone already in their hand. Nothing to pay, nothing to decide. Set the rest up later.

What you get

A QR code and a gallery. One of them prints.

Name your event and both exist about two minutes later.

One · the code

A card for every table.

We give you the sheet, laid out and ready for a printer. Or drop the code in the program, or just text the link. Guests scan with the camera they already have.

Two · the gallery

Every photo, in one place you own.

Taken on nine different phones. They arrive as they are taken, and you look the next morning.

And the part that matters today

Create it now, pay later. Or never.

Create your event now and pay later. Free to 50 photos, never more than $20, and nothing to decide until the photos are actually there.

Name it below ↓

One field

Name your event.

That is the whole thing. The PIN, the cover and full quality all wait until you can see what you are deciding about.

Your cards have to exist before the day does.

Your QR code exists the moment you name the event, so you can get the cards printed long before the day.

Takes about two minutes. No card. Free to 50 photos, then 10¢ each, capped at $20. Set the PIN, cover and quality later.

We email you the link the moment it exists. Lose it and the same email address gets you back in.

Questions

Questions people ask before creating one

How much will my event cost?
The first 50 photos are free. After that you pay $0.10 per photo to unlock visibility, capped at $20 in total. Once you reach the cap, every current and future upload stays unlocked for good, including the bulk ZIP download.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code and upload through their browser. There is no app and no account to create, which is the main reason photos actually arrive from the guests who would never have installed anything.
How are videos counted?
One video counts as 10 photos in the unlock counter, because a video costs roughly 10 times more in storage and bandwidth. Five videos use up the whole free quota; six photos unlock for 10¢.
Can I keep full-resolution photos?
Yes, and you decide after the event rather than before it. We hold your originals while the gallery is new, so you look through the photos first and then take the full-resolution files. That moves the event to $0.20 per photo capped at $40, which replaces the $20 cap rather than adding to it.
How long are photos stored?
Every photo is stored for a full year, on every plan. Download the whole archive any time. Once it is on your computer it is yours forever, and we would suggest doing that in the first week anyway.
Is there a limit on guests?
No. Unlimited guests and unlimited uploads. The $20 cap is per event, not per guest.
Is tax included in that price?
Prices are shown before tax. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address, so depending on where you are it may add a little or nothing at all. You will see the exact total before you pay.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them happen on the day

A printed Pixsie QR card standing in a holder on a set reception table
  1. I

    Name the event

One field. You get a gallery and a QR code straight away, before you have paid anything or even signed in.

  2. II

    Put the code out

Print it for the tables, drop it in the program, or text the link. Guests scan with the camera app they already have.

  3. III

    Collect while you celebrate

Photos arrive in your gallery as they are taken. You look through them the next morning and download the lot in one archive.

What your guests do

Three taps, and nothing to install

  1. A guest pointing a phone camera at a printed QR card on a table

Point the camera at the card. No app to download, no account to make.

  2. A phone showing a single wedding photo ready to upload

    Pick the ones worth keeping.

  3. A phone showing a grid of photos collected from the event

Done. Everything lands in the gallery you own.

Why hosts pick it

Guests install nothing

No app, no account, no sign-up. A guest scans the code, picks photos, and is done. That single fact is why hosts get photos from the relatives who would never have downloaded anything.

You pay for what arrived

Nothing to choose up front. The first 50 photos are free, and if your guests are quiet that is the whole bill. If they are generous, unlocking is capped, so a busy event cannot produce a surprise.

Full quality, decided later

We keep your originals at full resolution while your gallery is new. If you want prints or an album, unlock them once you have seen the photos, not before.

It looks like your event

Set a cover photo, colors and type so the page guests land on reads as yours rather than as a product. The gallery is a link you own, not a feed inside someone else’s app.

Private by default

Galleries are unlisted, and you can require a four-digit PIN so only the people at the event get in. Your photos are never used to train AI, and you can delete everything whenever you want.

Pricing

You only pay once photos arrive

Free

$0

The first 50 photos, on every event, with no card and no expiry. If your guests are quiet, this is the whole bill.

Pay as they arrive

$20maximum

$0.10 per photo past the free 50, and it stops at $20. One video counts as 10 photos, because it costs about that much more to store and send.

Full quality

$40maximum

Originals with no compression, for prints and albums. $20 on top of the $20 rather than instead of it, so $40 is the most one event can cost. Add it after the event, once you have seen the photos.

$40 is the ceiling on everything: every photo unlocked and the untouched originals included. There is no tier above it and nothing further to buy.

Comparable services charge $20 to $99 up front, before a single guest has uploaded anything. Here $20 is the ceiling rather than the entry fee, the first 50 photos are free, and you decide after the event.

Prices exclude tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.

I loved Pixsie for its simplicity. It worked perfectly for our event and you can't beat the price!
Kathy · Wedding
After looking at countless other sites and apps for collecting wedding pictures we decided to go with Pixsie. We loved the idea of only paying after a certain number of uploads as well as the easy interface for guests to upload pictures and videos without having to download an app or sign in to a website. We were able to match the interface of the site to our wedding colours and easily display QR codes around our venue. We loved getting to look through everything that was uploaded in the days following our wedding easily downloading them in high quality!

Every host quoted above ran a wedding. If yours is something else, it works the same way, and these pages are written for it: parties and corporate.
